Course Description:

The purpose of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) OSHA Rule for Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals (29 CFR 1910.119) is to prevent releases of Highly Hazardous Chemicals (HHC) that have the potential to cause catastrophic fires, explosions, or toxic exposures. This PSM objective is achieved by integrating 14 elements to help manage facilities, technology, and personnel. This PHA Leadership Course will provide in-depth training oh the PHA Element of the PSM standard.

Upon completion, all participants will receive 21 hours of Professional Development Hours.

    • Tuesday, October 15th: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
    • Wednesday, October 16th: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
    • Thursday, October 17th: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Objective:

Participants will learn how to successfully organize and lead PHA studies using the HAZOP and “What If” techniques.
